The iPad is a valuable tool for enhancing teaching and learning. This practical session will look at a range of core apps and the ways that they can be seamlessly integrated into Talking and Listening and Writing activities in the classroom in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. The session is primarily geared for teachers in these ares. 


We will look specifically at the genres of Procedural and Recount Writing and how to effectively use the iPad and the various apps to plan, create and deliver exciting and engaging Literacy lessons. 


The apps required for the session are Book Creator, Pic Collage, Comic Life, Explain Everything and iBooks
